Why Cornerstone?
Ephesians 2:19-22 ESV
“So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the Cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together in a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.”
We Believe…
In the triune God of the Bible, who is eternal one God in three persons–the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; and that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all.
Salvation is a free gift and found only through acceptance of the Lordship, atoning death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. That all the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, divinely inspired, without error in the original manuscripts, and our final authority.
That we are called to worship God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Also, that we are called to love our neighbor as ourself (Mark 12:29-31).
That we are called to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that the Lord commanded (Matthew 28:18-20).
